Mission Ability is looking for a patient and digitally confident support worker for an adult participant in Seaholme.

The role focuses on building the participant’s confidence and independence with:

- Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
- General computer and internet skills
- Online forms and digital administration
- Exploring employment and practical small-business opportunities
- Organising information and completing tasks step by step

The right person will enjoy teaching and encouraging someone to learn, rather than simply completing tasks for them.

Availability

Applicants must be available on Thursday or Friday. Exact hours will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Participant preference

The participant would prefer to work with a female support worker who speaks Maltese or has a good understanding of Maltese culture. Applicants who meet this preference are encouraged to apply.

About you

You’re approachable, patient and able to explain computer tasks in a clear and practical way. You understand that a good support-worker match is built through trust, consistency and genuine connection.

Requirements

- Solid Microsoft Word and Excel skills




- Experience in disability support, education, administration, employment support or a related area
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Australian working rights
- Ability to complete progress notes using a mobile app
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle preferred
- Willingness to complete Mission Ability’s induction and required training

A disability-related qualification is desirable but not essential if you have the right experience and skills.
