Brosna Town Construction Pty Ltd - Balmain NSW - Full-time Permanent position

Salary: $81016.00 excl. Superannuation

BROSNA TOWN CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD seek to employ a Plasterer on a full-time basis for various projects in the Sydney Metro area. This is a long-term role and require genuine applicants seeking long-term employment. This is essential to maintain a continuing professional point of contact within our firm for tiers 1, 2 & 3 Contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Applying plaster to a range of different areas

· Study blue prints and scale drawings to determine site requirements

· Order required materials and supplies required for each project

· Clean and prepare surfaces as required

· Apply coats of plaster and cement render depending on job specifications

· Install moisture barriers

· Install wire mesh or similar products to facilitate application of products used, depending on

· project and specifications

· Install guide wires on surfaces and mark out surfaces in preparation for application

· Adhere to OH&S;

· Correct and secure use of all hand and power tools

· Any adhoc duties as required

· Levelling and straightening corners,



angles, etc.

· Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, render or similar materials

· Applying finishing coats of plaster to give a smooth finish or decorative texture if required

· Erect scaffolding and trestles

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

· Enjoy practical work

· Good hand-eye coordination

· Able to work at heights

· Able to work neatly and accurately

· Good communication skills

· Some mathematical ability

· Able to read, interpret and work from plans

· Good health and stamina, and free from allergies to materials used.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The position holder must have:

· Completed Formal Apprenticeship or at least 3 + years of solid work experience in a similar role

Pay: $81,016.00 per year
