We are seeking a talented Chef to take a lead role in our brand-new café delivering first-class culinary experience, where you will work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm. You will help with the strategic initiative to enhance the workplace experience and support the client’s vision of becoming Australia's employer of choice. The restaurant is dedicated to producing exceptional breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go offerings using the highest quality local produce.

THE POSITION

- planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures




- preparing and cooking food
- explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

THE PERSON

- Chef’s diploma Qualification essential plus at least 1 year work experience
- Highly motivated and self-driven professional, capable of thriving independently while leading by example.
- Solid operational expertise across all aspects of kitchen management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
- Committed to the highest standards of Workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP compliance.

Pay: $79,500.00 per year
