About the role

Are you a skilled Truck Technician looking for a energetic role in a supportive, innovative team?

Daimler Trucks Toowoomba is seeking a FUSO Technician to join our service team.

This role covers our full FUSO range — from the light and medium-duty FUSO Canter through to the heavy-duty FUSO Shogun — giving you the opportunity to work across the complete lineup of this iconic Japanese brand.

You'll also gain exposure to Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Detroit, making this one of the most diverse technician roles in the region.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Light or heavy vehicle mechanic qualification (required).
- Experience with FUSO or other Japanese truck brands — Hino, Isuzu, or similar (highly regarded).
- Experience with European or American truck brands also well regarded.
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- HR licence (preferred but not essential).

What you'll do

- Diagnose and repair the full FUSO range — light, medium,



and heavy-duty trucks including the Canter and Shogun.
- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to FUSO manufacturer standards.
- Work across a diverse mix of Japanese, European, and American heavy vehicle brands.
- Utilise FUSO-specific diagnostic systems and advanced workshop tooling.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
