Food and music aren't just things we do — they're how we think. At Ruby My Dear, Japanese izakaya-style dining meets a high-fidelity listening bar experience, and we're looking for a Sous Chef who gets it.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a tight, creative kitchen. You'll work closely with our Head Chef to drive quality, consistency, and the kind of cooking that actually means something.

What We're Looking For

- A Sous Chef or senior CDP ready to step up
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused kitchen
- Japanese cuisine knowledge is a bonus — not a requirement
- A genuine leader: someone who lifts their section and the people around them
- Calm under pressure, curious by nature
- Positive attitude and passionate about produce, service and the food industry

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the Head Chef across all kitchen operations
- Leading sections during service and in their absence




- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a positive kitchen culture
- Contributing ideas to menu development and seasonal specials
- Upholding food safety, prep standards, and consistency across every dish
