About the role
Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder engagement, project coordination, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a genuine commitment to supporting people through times of crisis and recovery.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated ability to support the planning and provision of services to people with severe mental health and complex care needs.
Demonstrated high level community engagement skills and a capacity to develop multi-agency working partnerships that contribute to improved outcomes for people with a mental illness.
Demonstrated knowledge of current practices,
philosophies and trends in the delivery of mental health services in the National and State arenas and how this impacts on those who are at risk of falling through the gaps in service delivery and not accessing appropriate clinical and community support services.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication (oral, written, and electronic) skills, ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with key stakeholders, people with a mental illness, their families and/or carers.
Demonstrated high level organisational skills including advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
