About You

You are a safety-focused mining qualified who combines strong technical expertise with a practical, collaborative approach. You enjoy solving complex challenges, working closely with operational teams and developing others to achieve high performance outcomes.

You are comfortable balancing production, safety and cost considerations, using data and experience to make sound decisions and drive continuous improvement. Above all, you lead by example and are passionate about building technical capability within your team.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant open cut mining experience with strong drill and blast engineering capability. Experience with drill and blast design, optimisation and industry software such as Vulcan and BlastLogic.




- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and developing technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence operational outcomes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- A commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence
