We're looking for an experienced Demi Chef to join our kitchen team at Lana, in the heart of Sydney CBD. This casual role is a great opportunity to bring your skills and passion for food into a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.

About the Venue

Located by Circular Quay at the historic Hinchcliff House, Lana encapsulates effortless, contemporary Italian dining with Asian flavours and the finest Australian produce.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with preparation and presentation of dishes
- Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
- Contribute creative ideas to menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean, organised kitchen in line with health and safety regulations
- Support the team during service to ensure timely, efficient delivery
- Help train and develop junior kitchen staff

About You

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef or similar




- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
- Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for food and a creative approach to cooking
