We are looking for a MALE Disability Support Worker to work with some of our clients based in the Western Suburbs (notably Hoppers Crossing and Altona Meadows). This is a casual role with primarily morning shifts (example: from 10am to 1pm). PLEASE SPECIFY YOUR CURRENT AVAILABILITY WHEN YOU APPLY.

We are currently seeking an experienced and committed MALE Disability Support Worker to provide care and supervision for our participants who would like to get support to increase their social connections, improve their daily routines and re-engage with the community through shopping, appointments, and recreational activities (ex: going to the gym).

Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a valuable understanding of how to support an individual living with a disability. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence.



You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.

Qualifications & Experiences

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Support Worker with the following:

- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or relevant
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Driver licence
- Working With Children Check

Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker

- Provide individualised support to our client using a supportive and positive approach
- Community access
- Support with shopping, errands, appointments
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Assist the client with their emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs
- Provide transport when required
- Make sure our client is HAPPY!
