Baker – Bakealicious Cake Shop (Sydney)

Bakealicious Cake Shop, a well-established boutique bakery in Sydney known for its premium cakes and desserts, is seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join our dedicated team.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating a range of cakes, cupcakes, and pastries in accordance with Bakealicious’ high-quality standards. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in every product we deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and pastries from scratch according to recipes and production schedules.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients to ensure accurate and consistent results.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment and ovens safely and efficiently.
- Decorate and finish cakes to a professional standard, including frosting, piping, and fondant work.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in all baking areas.
- Assist in stock control, ingredient ordering, and daily production planning.




- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake decoration, and ingredient handling.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and passion for baking excellence.
- Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
