St Marys Skin Cancer Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our busy, well-established skin cancer clinic.
The successful applicant will primarily assist our female doctor during consultations and procedures, providing qualified, patient-focused nursing care in a friendly and supportive environment.
We are looking for someone who is confident, caring, organised and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. Experience in skin cancer or procedural nursing would be highly regarded.
This is a casual position with no weekend work, offering a great work-life balance in a friendly and professional environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a nurse who is available to work set days on:
- Tuesday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Thursday - 8:30am to 5:30 pm
- Flexibility to provide additional cover for sick and annual leave when required

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting doctors with skin biopsies and excisions
- Preparing procedure rooms and patients for treatment
- Wound care and suture removal
- Recording patient progress and procedure notes using Best Practice
- Sterilisation of instruments and maintaining infection control standards
- Stock monitoring and ordering
- Delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional presentation (scrubs required)
- Providing occasional reception support when required
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, professional and reliable attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience in dermatology, skin cancer or minor surgical procedures is highly regarded; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
