Are you a passionate home baker, aspiring cake artist, or team player with kitchen experience looking to turn your skills into a rewarding role? We are looking for an energetic Shop Assistant/Junior Cake Decorator (ideal age bracket 17-20) to join our casual team!

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role combining decoration, kitchen prep, and front-of-house operations. You will be helping us craft delicious products & treats while keeping our production and customer service running seamlessly.

- Position Type: Casual

- Key Availability: Mondays & Fridaysare essential. Flexible availability across Monday-Sunday is required.

- Working hours: 3h-25h a week, 8am starts (earliest), 8pm finishes (latest)

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with basic cake decorating, icing, piping, glazing, and finishing touches according to store standards

- Food prep and assembling products (cakes & treats) in a production line fashion

- Maintaining exceptionally high standards of hygiene, sanitization, and workplace cleanliness

- Supporting front-of-house operations when needed,



including friendly customer service and cash handling

What We Are Looking For

- Relevant Experience/Skills: Home baking enthusiasm, basic piping skills, or prior kitchen/line cook experience

- Customer Service: Friendly demeanor with basic customer service and cash handling skills preferred

- Work Ethic: Thrives in a quick-paced environment and works well under pressure

- Attention to Detail: Pride in neatness, cleanliness, and precise presentation

- Reliability: Strong work ethic with consistent availability on Mondays & Fridays preferred
