About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail and venue-related business activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high customer service standards, overseeing stock and inventory, and ensuring efficient business operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail or hospitality professional who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and has strong leadership and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate daily retail operations.
- Supervise, train and motivate staff.
- Prepare staff rosters and manage day-to-day staffing requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high service standards.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, receiving and inventory control.
- Manage merchandising, product presentation and store standards.
- Monitor sales performance and assist with achieving business targets.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.




- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, purchasing and cost control.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
- Maintain accurate operational and sales records.
- Ensure the premises are clean, organised and presented to a high standard.
- Assist management with promotions, events and business development activities.
- Ensure company policies and relevant Australian laws and regulations are followed.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in retail management, hospitality management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive understanding of stock control, purchasing and inventory management.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer-facing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good computer and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Hospitality or licensed venue experience will be highly regarded.
