Days: Monday - Thursday, alternate weeks*

Hours: Aprrox. 28-32 hours per fortnight

Children: G12, B11 & B6

Pay: $45 -$55 per hour

*Monday-Thursday: 2.30pm-7.30/8.00pm ~or~

*Open to extended hours, with the option to start around 12.00/1.00pm and finish at approximately 7.30pm. Hours can be shaped around the right candidate, with flexibility on both sides.

•Driver’s licence and own reliable car are essential.

•Occasional overnight care may be available when Dad travels for work.

- School holiday hours will vary and can be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Our busy, active and welcoming single Father in Freshwater family is looking for a warm, energetic and highly organised nanny to become a valued part of family life and support his three school-aged children. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who loves working with older children, enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a lively household where no two afternoons are quite the same.

The children have full and engaging schedules including sport, tutoring, drama, debating and other extracurricular activities, so the family would love someone who is confident juggling moving parts, thinking ahead and keeping afternoons organised and running smoothly. Dad works long hours but is a very hands-on parent and takes a genuine team approach at home. He is looking for a nanny he can trust and give plenty of autonomy to, rather than someone who needs to check in on every decision.

More than anything, this family is looking for the right personality fit: someone warm, kind, upbeat and proactive who genuinely enjoys engaging with children and wants to be involved rather than simply supervise. The ideal nanny will become a trusted mentor and supportive presence in the children’s lives, bringing positive energy while providing transparent, respectful boundaries and encouragement.

Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:

- School pick-ups and managing afternoon routines

- Driving children to and from sport, tutoring and extracurricular activities

- Helping with homework and keeping the children organised for school

- Preparing children’s meals and snacks

- Managing the children’s schedules, belongings and activities

- Children’s laundry, including clothing and bedding

- Light household duties, general tidying and keeping shared spaces organised

- Running occasional child/family-related errands

- Encouraging age-appropriate independence and responsibility

- Providing calm, consistent and positive behaviour guidance

- Creating a warm, fun and structured environment for the children

- Current driver’s licence and own reliable car

- Confident and protected driving children to daily activities

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

- Current National Police Check

- Australian-based child-related references

- Warm, kind and genuinely engaging personality

- High energy and confidence managing three active children

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills

- Calm and patient approach to emotional regulation

- Proactive and able to work independently without being micromanaged

- Flexible and adaptable when schedules change

- Positive and respectful approach to behaviour management

- Non-smoker
