Rydaba Pty Ltd t/s Vapiano is currently seeking an experienced full-time Chefs to join our team in Brisbane CBD, 4000

Key Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time work experience in a Chef or similar role within a high-volume, fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Relevant Diploma qualification in Hospitality Management (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes, menus, and presentation standards
- Ability to assist with menu planning and the preparation of daily specials in collaboration with management
- Robust knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices, including compliance with Australian food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency
- Experience in monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies, and minimising food wastage
- Ability to follow kitchen procedures, portion control standards, and quality guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse kitchen team




- Ability to work across different kitchen sections and support the broader kitchen team as required during service
- Experience supervising or guiding junior kitchen staff is desirable
- Experience assisting with the training of apprentices or junior kitchen staff is desirable
- Experience preparing Italian cuisine or working in a similar restaurant environment will be highly regarded
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by restaurant operations

Position Details:

- Full-time position (38 hours per week)
- Annual salary $75,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
- Location: Brisbane CBD, 4000
