Phoenix Source & Select is seeking an experienced Automotive or Industrial Spray Painter to join a long established Australian manufacturer specialising in the manufacture, repair and refurbishment of heavy railway machinery.

This is an excellent opportunity to take your spray painting skills into the heavy machinery industry, working on specialised equipment from production through to final delivery.

What’s on offer

- $55.84 per hour for experienced unqualified painters
- $66.48 per hour for trade qualified painters
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Ongoing stable work
- Accrued monthly RDO

- North St Marys location

The role

You'll be responsible for preparing and painting large machinery and components to a high quality finish, including:

- Spray painting machinery during production and final assembly
- Ensuring finishes meet required specifications and quality standards
- Preparing surfaces and equipment for painting
- Monitoring paint thickness and quality using measuring equipment
- Maintaining paint, materials and consumable stock
- Completing required quality and painting records
- Maintaining a clean and safe painting environment




- Working closely with production and assembly teams

Who we're looking for

We're interested in experienced painters from automotive, truck and trailer, heavy vehicle, machinery, industrial equipment or similar environments.

Trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential. If you're an experienced spray painter with strong practical skills and can demonstrate the quality of your work, we still want to hear from you.

You'll need a strong eye for detail, pride in your finish, good safety awareness and the ability to work consistently to quality specifications.
