Max Matresses Pty Ltd is an Australian manufacturer of furniture and bedding products operating from its manufacturing premises at Cringila NSW.

Max Matresses services both commercial and domestic clients and is now looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join its busy team.

The successful candidate will be based at our premises in Cringila NSW and will also travel to client premises as required.

The Position

The positions duties and responsibilities include:

- Creating mood boards to help clients visualise their design.• Consulting with the clients to choose materials, furnishings and decor that will help fulfil the requirements of the concept and vision for the space.• Addressing any client queries to ensure client satisfaction and delivery of the client’s concept.• Conceptualising design plans and preparing sketches or other visual aids to present designs to the client.• Suggesting and sourcing materials, furnishings anddécor as needed,



to meet the projects budget andspecifications• Maintaining an understanding of emerging and current design trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in the interior design field.• Performing additional related duties as neededincluding supervision of the interiors construction.

Remuneration

A base salary of $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per annum (plus superannuation) will be offered to the successful candidate.

Positions Requirements

The successful candidate must have a bachelor degree or higher qualification in design or at least 5 years of experience working as an interior designer.

Apart from the above training the successful candidate must have at least one year post qualification working in interior design or closely related work.
