We’re building something exciting at the David Jones Food Hall and we’re looking for hospitality people with personality, energy and a genuine love of great food and service.

This isn’t your standard food court job.

Our Food Hall is made up of several unique concepts including Italian dining, Asian food, bakery, coffee, desserts, High Tea and our new Oyster Bar, all operating under one roof in one of Sydney’s most iconic department stores.

We’re looking for FOH team members, baristas, waitstaff and hospitality all-rounders who want to be part of a busy, evolving venue.

What we’re looking for

- A great attitude and strong work ethic
- Confident, friendly customer service
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who actually enjoys talking to customers
- Reliable and well presented
- Comfortable working as part of a large team
- Barista, wine or cocktail knowledge is a bonus
- RSA is an advantage for applicable areas

What you’ll be doing

Depending on your experience, you could be working across:





- Restaurant and table service
- High Tea
- Oyster Bar
- Italian and Asian dining concepts
- Coffee and takeaway
- Bakery and dessert counters
- Functions and special events
- Food and beverage service
- Opening, closing and daily venue operations
