Disability Support Worker – Casual (Male)

Shine On Disability Support Services is looking for a reliable and compassionate male Disability Support Worker to join our growing team.

We currently have an prospect for a participant requiring:

- Wednesday – 5 hours
- Friday – 5 hours
- Ongoing weekly shifts

These particular shifts involve community access, social support and assistance within the home. No personal care is required for this participant.

Additional shifts available

We are looking for someone who is interested in more than just the Wednesday and Friday shifts, as there are opportunities to build additional hours with other participants.

These may include:

- Personal care
- Community access
- Assistance with daily living
- Additional weekday shifts
- Sleepover shifts

You will need to be confident and experienced in providing personal care, as this is required for some of our other participants.

- Flexible and willing to pick up additional shifts
- Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support

Requirements

- Previous disability support experience
- Previous personal care experience – essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Australian working rights
- Cert. In disability or equivalent (preferred)
