We are seeking an experienced individual to join the Agile Library team servicing designated sites across rural villages and suburbs located in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.

What we will offer you:

- Permanent, full time position.
- Remuneration of $2,686.30 minimum gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,223.56 gross per fortnight, plus 12% superannuation.
- Generous leave entitlements, including access to Council's Flexible Working Hours Agreement and MyLeave.

- Please note: Rates of pay for all Council employees aged between 15-18 years of age are paid in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, Clause 32. Junior and Trainee Employment. For further information, please see Council’s Junior Rates of Pay Fact Sheet.

Your new role:

This service includes delivering programs in library and community settings, delivering the Agile Library service at multiple locations across the Local Government Area and providing front facing customer service and circulation duties at Wagga Wagga City Library.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Delivering a variety of library programs in library and community settings. For example, children's programs, youth activities, seniors’ classes, intergenerational programs, and author talks




- Conduct the Agile Library service at multiple locations across the Local Government Area. Deliver high-quality library services to library members and visitors to meet their information and recreational needs.
- Undertake promotional, publicity and marketing activities associated with the delivery of programs and services.

What you will need to succeed:

The successful applicant will have:

- Substantial experience in the presentation of programs to diverse audiences.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Substantial experience using a Library Management System and assisting with information and readers advisory services in a library setting.
- A Class C Driver’s Licence.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check Clearance.
