Located in Andergrove, Mackay, Health on Central is seeking a registered nurse to join our supportive, up to date and patient focused team.
The Practice is opened Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. No shift, weekend or afterhours work.

Criteria:
Essential:
Registered nurse (RN): Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills




Ability to work independently and within a team
Adaptable and open to change and innovation
Current CPR certificate
Desirable:
Previous experience in General Practice
Knowledge of childhood and adult immunisations
Experience in chronic disease management
Computer skills (previous experience in Best Practice would be highly desirable)
Ability to multi-task with workflow of a treatment room
Duties:
Patient triage
Immunisations and other injections
ECG’s, Spirometry and ear syringing
Wound management procedures and support GP’s during minor surgery
Care plans, health assessments and support patients with chronic illnesses
Equipment sterilisation
