Established GP practice is looking for an Experienced Practice RN to join our friendly team 2-3 days per week.

The role of RN in general practice is versatile. Successful applicant will be able to perform clinical duties within required and appropriate level of clinical competency based on training and experience. Role will include: supporting 3 GPs, assisting doctors in clinical procedures and surgery, triage, cold chain management, vaccine ordering and recording, implementing and actively following through with Clinical Quality Improvement activities, liaising with pharmaceutical reps, preventative and screening procedures, chronic disease management, health assessments, GP and Mental Health Care Plans, ensuring adequate and up to date infection prevention and control measures are in place at the practice, wound management, immunisations, ECG and spirometry, patient education,



health promotion activities, sterilisation of surgical instruments, maintaining stock and medicine supplies, creation and review of clinical policies and procedures, and checking clinical compliance with accreditation standards.

Essential requirements:

- experience working in General Practice

- ability to multitask and prioritise with an attention to detail

- Working with Children Check

Desirable:

- immunisation certificate

- experience with Best Practice software

- sterilisation of surgical instruments

- ECG & spirometry

- CPR certificate
- experience with or willingness to lead Clinical Quality Improvement initiatives for the Practice
