About the role

Dental At Home is seeking a skilled and passionate Dentist to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a contract Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients within the local community. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team while enjoying the benefits of a flexible contract role.

We have an established headquarters in Warner's Bay, where we operate a clinic supported by a growing and loyal patient base. Alongside our expanding mobile dental services, including significant work within aged care facilities, we are seeking both Principal and Associate Dentists to help lead and deliver high-quality care across our clinic and outreach programs. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key clinical role within a progressive and patient-focused practice that is continuing to grow its presence in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie and Central Coast region.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting comprehensive oral examinations and developing tailored treatment plans for a diverse patient base, including patients with dementia, special needs, and general dental patients

Delivering high-quality dental care primarily through mobile dentistry services, including visits to aged care facilities and community settings

Performing a wide range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and preventive/cosmetic treatments where appropriate

Providing patient-centred preventive care advice and oral health education tailored to individual needs and abilities





Maintaining accurate, detailed, and compliant patient records in line with professional and regulatory standards

Working collaboratively with the wider dental team to ensure protected, compassionate, and consistent care across all service environments

What we're looking for

Fully qualified Dentist with a current Australian Dental Board registration

Strong clinical interest in exodontia, including surgical extractions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
