We have a position available for a full time or part time Dental Assistant based at our Joondalup rooms. The successful applicant will also be required to work at our Cottesloe rooms on a rostered basis, but by far the majority of their time will be undertaken at Joondalup.

Although previous experience in orthodontics would be ideal, this is not a requirement, as long as you have worked as a Dental Assistant. On the job training in orthodontic procedure and technology will be provided as needed. The applicant must have the ability to use modern technology and be willing to learn new techniques and develop new skills.

We are seeking a person who communicates with maturity and confidence and is able to assist in maintaining an organised and effective practice. The ability to work as a team with the Orthodontist,



Oral Health Therapists and other Dental Assistants will also be crucial to the role.

The Job at a Glance

§ Full time (4½ day week or 9 day fortnight) or part time for at least three days per week 8-9 hours per day.

§ Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential if the applicant has dental assisting experience.

§ Orthodontic experienced welcomed but not required as you will be trained in all orthodontic procedures.

§ Chairside assistance to Orthodontists and Oral Health Therapists.

§ 3D intraoral scanning.

§ Welcome and concierge patients through the practice.

§ Associated administration duties.

§ Monitoring of stock levels.
