Join The Rehabilitation Specialists: Make a Meaningful Impact

The Rehabilitation Specialists offers a clinically focused, flexible alternative to large corporate providers. Our Occupational Therapists work across both NDIS and workplace rehabilitation, allowing for more meaningful, varied, and person-centred practice. With lower administrative burden, genuine flexibility, and the opportunity to shape a growing service, we prioritise clinician autonomy, professional development, and sustainable workloads.

This role offers a unique blend of NDIS work and workplace rehabilitation, supporting clients to build capacity, regain independence, and participate in everyday life and employment.

About the Role

You will deliver evidence-informed Occupational Therapy services across a diverse adult caseload, including:

- Clients requiring functional, environmental, and vocational assessment
- The role involves autonomous practice within a supportive, collaborative team, with access to structured supervision, clinical leadership and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments, including ADL/IADL performance, environmental needs, and capacity evaluations
- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans aligned with participant goals and funding frameworks (NDIS, workplace schemes, private health insurance)
- Complete high-quality clinical documentation and reports (e.g., FCA, progress reports, return-to-work planning)
- Deliver capacity-building interventions using a strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and person-centred approach (e.g., therapy programs)
- Provide assistive technology prescription and minor environmental modification recommendations
- Collaborate with stakeholders including support coordinators, employers, insurers,

and multidisciplinary teams
- Support return-to-work planning, graded duties, and vocational rehabilitation strategies
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and relevant legislative requirements

About You

You are a thoughtful, adaptable clinician who values both clinical rigour and genuine human connection. You bring:

- Minimum 1 years’ Occupational Therapy experience (NDIS)
- Robust skills in functional assessment, clinical reasoning, and report writing
- Experience or interest in vocational rehabilitation / return-to-work services
- A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Essential Requirements:

- AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist)
- Current driver’s licence
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
