Position Purpose
Deliver quality nursing care in general practice while maintaining confidentiality and supporting team operations.

Key Duties

- Liaise with health services and external providers
- Maintain clinical standards (infection control, safety, records, stock, accreditation)
- Conduct health assessments, care plans, and manage recalls/immunisations
- Provide patient education and support chronic disease management
- Perform clinical tasks (triage, wound care, procedures, testing, immunisations)
- Assist with administration, stock ordering, and practice cleanliness

Requirements

- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and PII
- Robust communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Medication administration endorsement

Certifications

- Driver’s licence
- First Aid/CPR
- Relevant registrations and memberships

Professional Development

- Ongoing training supported; participation may require approval
- CPD evidence may be requested to meet AHPRA standards
