About the Role
This is a senior paediatric role for an OT who wants to do paeds differently. This role requires deep clinical practice.
You’ll work with children, adolescents and youths into their 20s with:
- Autism and ADHD
- Complex psychosocial histories, behavioural and family presentations
- Emotional regulation & executive functioning challenges
- School refusal
- Eating disorders
This is not a sit-in-a-clinic-all-day role.
You will:
- Deliver therapy across home, school, and community environments (with optional clinic days)
- Support emotional regulation, participation, routines, and independence
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and support teams
- Build long-term, meaningful therapeutic relationships
- Contribute to functional assessments and reporting where required

Requirements
- Occupational Therapy degree + AHPRA registration + full rights to live and work in Australia
- Experience in paediatric OT required (this role is not suitable for early career OTs due to the complexities of families we see)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- WWCC & NDIS Screening Check
Desirable:
- Experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Demonstrable autonomy in managing a caseload
- Training in emotional regulation, mental health first aid, or trauma-informed care
- NDIS experience
