Voiced Speech Pathology is a dedicated mobile speech pathology practice committed to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for children from the ages of 2-18 years of age.

The team focuses on evidence-based assessment and intervention tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Services may include support for AAC, speech, language, and swallowing difficulties in a variety of clinical and community settings.

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Melbourne, VIC. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering one-on-one therapy sessions, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate clinical

records.

The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, educators,



and other health professionals to support client goals and participation in everyday activities. The clinician will also provide education, resources, and home programs to empower clients and their support networks.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy and management of Speech disorders.
- Experience with assessing and implementing AAC
- Experience assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
- Competence in the assessment and management of Dysphagia and related swallowing difficulties.
- Recognized degree in Speech Pathology or Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for professional registration/membership (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia).
- Strong clinical documentation, caseload management, and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered and culturally responsive approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with families, schools, and community services.
- Current Working With Children Check, relevant clearances, and professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain.
