Role Description This is a remote, contractor Clinical Psychologist position providing services two days per week, with versatile morning or evening availability. The role focuses on the assessment and treatment of children and young adults presenting with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, administering and interpreting standardised psychometric measures, preparing high-quality diagnostic and clinical reports, and delivering evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to the individual needs of neurodivergent clients and their families.



The role also involves developing treatment plans, providing psychoeducation, collaborating with parents, schools, paediatricians, and other allied health professionals, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

The successful contractor will work independently while collaborating closely with the practice director to ensure high-quality, client-centred care and may contribute to service development and clinical consultation as appropriate.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology, with registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Clinical Psychologist with relevant professional bodies.
- Experience working in Mental Health settings, providing evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Experience or strong interest in Autism and ADHD assessment and therapy, including psychoeducation for clients and families.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent), and eligibility for Medicare provider status is highly desirable.
- Ability to work ethically and independently within a team environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and culturally responsive care.
