About the Role

Join a vibrant community-focused general practice in Homebush as a full time General Practitioner. Key Responsibilities

- Clinical care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of presentations including acute illness, chronic disease management, mental health concerns, women’s and men’s health, and preventive screening.
- Continuity of care: Maintain thorough medical records, follow up on investigations, and coordinate patient care with specialists and community services.
- Patient communication: Provide clear explanations, health education, and shared decision making tailored to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Practice contribution: Participate in quality improvement activities, clinical governance, and team meetings to strengthen service delivery.
- Training and supervision: Support junior clinicians and contribute to a learning culture through case discussions and mentorship.

About You

We welcome experienced General Practitioners who are registered to practice in Australia and have a genuine passion for community general practice. Skills and Qualifications

- Medical registration: Current AHPRA registration and Medicare provider number.
- Experience: Previous general practice experience preferred; experience managing chronic disease and preventative health programs advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, allied health professionals, practice managers, and administrative staff.
- Technology: Comfortable using practice management and electronic medical records systems.
