Company Description Optimal Recovery and Rehab Physiotherapy is dedicated to helping people recover and restore their health through evidence-based, hands-on physiotherapy care. Role Description This is a full-time Physiotherapist role based in Brisbane, QLD, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home for non-contact tasks such as documentation and telehealth. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans, and delivering evidence-based manual therapy and exercise programs. The role involves educating patients and families on injury prevention, recovery, and self-management strategies, as well as maintaining accurate clinical records and reports. The Physiotherapist will communicate regularly with referring clinicians, including surgeons and GPs,
to coordinate care and monitor progress. Participation in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development activities is also expected.
Qualifications
- Current qualification in Physiotherapy and full AHPRA registration (or eligibility), with appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in musculoskeletal and/or neurological rehabilitation, including assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Solid clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and time-management skills, including the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
- Comfort with digital tools for documentation, telehealth consultations, and electronic medical records.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in professional development activities.
- Experience in private practice, hospital, or rehabilitation settings is highly regarded; interest or experience in post-surgical rehabilitation is a plus.
- Availability to work standard clinic hours, with flexibility to meet patient and clinic needs as required.
