Due to continued growth and increasing demand for services, they are seeking an experienced and passionate Adult Speech Pathologist to join their team on a contractor basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative group of senior clinicians while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy that comes with a subcontractor arrangement.

About the role:

As an Adult Speech Pathologist, you will provide assessment, intervention, and rehabilitation services to adults living with neurological and acquired conditions. You will work with a diverse caseload involving communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across community, clinic, and telehealth settings.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adults with neurological and acquired conditions
- Manage a varied caseload funded through NDIS, iCare, Aged Care, and private referrals
- Deliver therapy for communication, cognitive-communication, swallowing, and voice disorders, including neurogenic and functional voice presentations
- Collaborate closely with families, carers,



support teams, medical specialists, and allied health professionals
- Prepare high-quality reports and clinical documentation
- Work autonomously while receiving support from an experienced senior clinical team

Requirements:

Essential

- Minimum 3 years of experience working with adult clients
- Demonstrated experience managing neurological rehabilitation caseloads
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a flexible caseload
- Eligible for registration and practice as a Speech Pathologist in Australia

Desirable

- Experience working with NDIS, iCare, and Aged Care funding streams
- SPEAK OUT!® certification or willingness to obtain certification
