We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Dentist to join our passionate, hard-working and enthusiastic team on a permanent basis across both Red Hill Dental Practice and Flinders Dental Practice. The position will initially commence part-time, with the option of building your book to a full-time, 4-day-per-week role across both practices (the same team services both locations).

At Red Hill Dental Practice and Flinders Dental Practice, our goal is to provide the best possible patient experience. We are an independent, owner-operated boutique family practice running for over 25 years, and we are incredibly proud of the established patient base we have built. We are not a preferred provider.

You will be joining a supportive environment alongside experienced, highly-trained dentists who are available to support, assist and mentor you as required. You will also be backed by a robust hygiene department featuring a dental therapist and hygienists, alongside our dedicated sterilisation nurses. All of our nurses and receptionists are highly experienced and hold at least an RMIT Certificate III qualification.

About You

We are looking for a practitioner enthusiastic about growing with us who can offer the following:

· Clinical Experience: You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a general dentist in Australia.

· Collaborative Patient Care: You must have the ability to identify the need for complex treatment plans (such as advanced crown and bridge work, endodontics and implants). If you are already competent and experienced in performing any of these complex treatments, we welcome and encourage you to undertake them immediately. For procedures currently outside your clinical interest, you must be able to confidently refer these internally for further diagnosis and planning. The patient will then return to you for their ongoing care. We are highly supportive of your professional development; if desired, there is ample opportunity to receive mentorship and gradually build your clinical skills to undertake these procedures yourself in the future, however this is not a requirement.

· Clear Aligner Opportunity: We do not currently provide any clear aligner treatment within the practice.



This could be a great growth opportunity for you to be the sole provider of this service for the two practices if you desire and are/become suitably trained.

· Family-Oriented: As a family practice, you must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.

· Excellent Communication: Building trust and rapport with patients is critical to our approach to preventative, proactive oral health management. You must be a confident communicator who is calm, approachable, caring and friendly.

· Team-Focussed and Motivated: We need someone who works well with others, has strong ethical values and shows initiative. A proactive mindset is essential to thrive in our dynamic, continuously improving environment.

· Credentials: Current, unrestricted registration with Ahpra as a Dentist and possession of current professional indemnity insurance. If you do not currently hold OPG and CBCT certification, you must be willing to obtain this ASAP.
