Because we are a boutique solo practice, this is not a traditional, siloed nursing role. You will be the sole clinical nurse on-site, requiring a high degree of confidence, commitment, and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality wound care, dressings, immunisations, stock management, sterilisation, and assist with minor surgical or skin procedures under indirect GP supervision.

Clinic Housekeeping: Take ownership of the clinical environment by ensuring consulting and treatment rooms are impeccably clean, fully stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.

Administrative Support: When our administrative team is absent or during peak periods, you will step away from clinical duties to confidently manage the front desk, handle phone inquiries, triage bookings, and assist with patient management software.

Requirements & Experience:

Current, unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.

Essential: Prior experience working within an Australian General Practice setting.

Minimum of 6-12 months of experience working within an Australian General Practice or comparable setting is required.

Desirable: Experience involving oncology, cancer care, or skin cancer clinics will be highly regarded.

The clinical confidence and competence to work independently with indirect supervision.

Mandatory Compliance (Required Prior to Commencement): In line with Victorian Government health regulations and practice policy, the successful candidate must provide:

Three (3) Clinical Referees: Contact details of recent clinical supervisors or practice managers who can verify your clinical competence.

National Police Check: A current, clear National Police Certificate (issued within the last 6 months).

Current Immunisation Certificate: An up-to-date Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) statement demonstrating compliance with Victorian Department of Health guidelines for healthcare workers (including relevant boosters and annual influenza immunisation).
