About the Role

We are further expanding our interdisciplinary team and are seeking another enthusiastic Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our supportive environment. You will work closely with our occupational therapists and Senior Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, goal-directed physiotherapy interventions to children from infancy to early adolescence.

The role offers the opportunity to:

- Deliver individualised physiotherapy assessments and interventions for a wide range of developmental, neurological, sensory, and motor coordination needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and family-centred care.
- Participate in joint therapy sessions, group programs, and parent education.
- Work within a flexible, child-led, play-based framework.
- Be supported through supervision, professional development, and mentorship opportunities.




- Contribute to service development projects in a growing and innovative practice.
- Manage a mixed case load: Neurological and Genetic conditions, Movement disorders/Cerebral palsy, GDD, DCD, ASD, ADHD, Gross Motor Skill Delay (Crawling and Walking, Standing up off the floor, Stairclimbing), Self-Care/Independence (dressing, transfers to car/wheelchair/toilet ), Hypermobility, Low Muscle Tone or Spasticity, Toe walking, Clumsiness and frequent falls, Asymmetries & delays in movement, Pain & injury, management, Fatigue management and exercise tolerance, head shape concerns and side preferences, Equipment Prescription

Key Responsibilities

- Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and consultation services to paediatric clients.
- Develop and implement therapy plans that are functional, evidence-based, and family-oriented.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other health professionals to support children's participation in everyday activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and clinical records.
- Participate actively in professional development and reflective practice activities.

About You

- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience in paediatrics, particularly early childhood and/or school-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of child development, motor milestones, and neurological and musculoskeletal presentations and willingness to learn.




- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and teams.
- Passionate about family-centred practice, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional communication with families and stakeholders and age-appropriate communication with clients
- Current Working With Children Check (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

- Experience or training in Dynamic Movement Intervention, Bobath, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ASD, or DCD or willingness to obtain

- Option to work 3-5 days/week
- Possibility to shape your role based on level of experience
- BST team support or autonomy as required and requested
- Shared multidisciplinary and observation sessions to establish integrated treatment plans: interdisciplinary team, including, allied health assistants: OT and PT collaboration at In Sync and in-house SP Learn and Grow
- Competitive salary based on experience.
