Blackwell Clinic is preparing to launch as a private Australian telehealth clinic, with launch currently planned for August 2026.

We are looking for an AHPRA-registered GP for flexible contract telehealth work, with potential clinical lead involvement for the right long-term fit.

This is a launch-stage role, so it would suit a GP who is patient, qualified, commercially aware, and interested in working with a growing clinic from the beginning. We already have early waitlist interest, but patient volume will build progressively after launch.

The clinic is being built around an assessment-first, clinician-led model across:

- Medical weight management
- Metabolic health
- Hormone health
- Menopause and perimenopause care
- Preventative health
- General private telehealth consultations

Role structure:

- Flexible remote telehealth work
- Contract basis
- Paid per consultation
- Expected earning potential up to approximately $300/hr equivalent when patient volume is flowing
- Admin, booking, patient-flow and systems support provided
- No requirement to work exclusively with Blackwell Clinic

Clinical model:

- Assessment-first
- Clinician-led
- No product sales
- No prescribing targets




- Full clinical discretion remains with the doctor
- Treatment considered only where clinically appropriate
- Clear documentation and compliance-focused workflows

For the right long-term candidate, there may also be scope to discuss a clinical lead role, performance-based profit-share, or modest equity pathway once fit and contribution are clear.

Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Able to practise independently as a GP in Australia
- VR GP preferred
- FRACGP or FACRRM highly regarded
- Professional indemnity insurance covering telehealth
- Strong clinical judgement
- Comfortable working within Australian telehealth, privacy, prescribing, and documentation standards
- Interest in metabolic health, hormone health, menopause/perimenopause, preventative health or private telehealth would be highly regarded

This role may suit a GP who is already working part-time, consulting privately, semi-retired, portfolio-based, or interested in helping shape a modern Australian telehealth clinic without product-sales pressure.
