What You’ll Do:
- Conduct psychological assessments – administer tests, interviews, and evaluations to understand client needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans – create evidence-based interventions to support mental health and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams – work closely with Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, and Rehabilitation Consultants; you’ll benefit from a truly holistic and supportive workplace—no more professional isolation!
- Prepare reports and maintain case notes – document client progress and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with insurers, nominated treating doctors and employers
What You'll Bring:
- Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Registered Provider with any relevant State-based compensation scheme as required, or ability to obtain
- Experience in the treatment of traumatic injury (highly desirable)
- EMDR skills
- Eagerness to build effective working relationships with referrers, insurers and other members of the care team
- Experience in the treatment of secondary psychological disorders (such as pain disorders, or difficulties adjusting to injury) (highly desirable)
- Experience in case conceptualisation, treatment planning, and delivery
- A collaborative mindset to work alongside other professionals and key stakeholders
- An understanding of workplace stressors and their impact on mental health
- Current C Class Driver’s License & National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Endorsement in an area of Psychology (desirable)
- Background in vocational rehabilitation (desirable)
