About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounts team.

This is an important role that helps keep our business running smoothly through the accurate and timely processing of supplier accounts. Working in a high-volume environment, you'll be part of a close-knit team that values accuracy, efficiency and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Process supplier account applications and maintain accurate records
- Process invoices, ensuring correct purchase orders, accounting codes and approvals are in place
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and process supplier payments via EFT and cheque




- Respond to supplier and internal account enquiries professionally and promptly
- Provide general accounts support across the business

About You

You will be a motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering accurate work.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

- Previous accounts payable experience
- Experience working in a high-volume accounts environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- A sound understanding of accounting processes
- Experience reconciling accounts
- Strong computer skills and a qualified telephone manner
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
