Workshop Assistant

- $37.50/hr + Penalties
- Monday Friday | Optional Saturdays

WorkPac is currently seeking a Workshop Assistant to join a leading heavy industrial workshop in Singleton . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with workshop or manufacturing experience looking to secure ongoing work in a supportive team environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Workshop Assistant, you will provide hands‑on support to qualified tradespeople repairing and overhauling heavy‑duty radiators and cooling components used throughout the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting Radiator Repairers and Fitters with workshop activities.
- Disassembling and preparing components for inspection.
- Cleaning, washing and preparing radiators and cooling equipment.
- Assisting with general workshop duties and material handling.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.

What You Will Need

- Previous workshop, manufacturing, mechanical or heavy industrial experience.
- Experience assisting trades or working in a hands‑on workshop setting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.




- Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Desirable:

- LF Forklift Licence.
