The Montefiore Foundation is looking for a casual Retail Assistant to join

the team at our Hunters Hill Residential campus.

The Emporium plays a special role in our community; every purchase

directly supports our Foundation’s work to subsidise care for over 30% of

our concessional residents.

About the Role

This is a hands-on retail role working 18 hours per week alongside our dedicated volunteers and Boutique Supervisor.

The Retail Assistant is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming shopping experience for customers, keeping the store tidy and helping with stock and sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Work collaboratively with volunteers and team members
- Process transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly
- Support stock intake, restocking, and inventory checks
- Help maintain the store’s appearance, including displays and window setups

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience
- Friendly and approachable with a solid sense of teamwork
