Graduate Speech Pathologist - Adults Only | Ascent Speech Pathology

Full-time - $80,000 + super

Ascent Speech Pathology is a leading provider of speech pathology services dedicated to helping only adults achieve their communication and swallowing goals. We are a small but currently growing team in our new location at Varsity Lakes Day Hospital.

What this role is for a speech pathologist who

- Wants to work with adults only, no paediatrics, ever.
- Has experience (or a robust interest) in voice disorders and progressive neurological conditions.
- Is self-driven and confident managing their own caseload, backed by structured support.
- Values genuine clinical depth over volume you'll build real relationships with your clients over time.
- Will service both in clinic and home visits.

Caseload: Building to approx. 25 client‑facing hours/week, scaled to your experience.

What we are looking for

- A degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia.
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current National Police Check.
- Comfortable driving your own caseload, with structured support behind you.
- Experience with voice disorders and/or progressive neurology (e.g. Parkinson's, MND, dementia).
- A genuine excitement about working exclusively with adults.

- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for the adult population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, families and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
