from market-fresh sashimi and intricate sushi to live fuel robata and a tantalising Omakase experience under the guidance of our Executive Chef Yamagen Melbourne - Head of Culinary Creative, Asian Cuisine for EVT, Yosuke Hatanaka.

We're looking for a motivated, talented Head Chef with a "team-first" attitude and a passion for culinary excellence to lead this high-energy, award-winning restaurant. If you've got the skills, creativity and dedication to make an impact at Australia's leading designer hotel brand, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

- Direct, supervise and support the kitchen team to maintain high productivity and service standards at all times.
- Present food that consistently meets and exceeds guest expectations, anticipating and responding to guests' culinary needs promptly, and resolving any complaints or issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all food is stored, prepared and handled safely and hygienically, in line with OH&S; guidelines.
- Ensure all sections and staff are fully prepared and ready for service.
- Recruit, train and develop kitchen team members, including regular performance reviews and appraisals.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with chefs, Food & Beverage Managers, Outlet Supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Monitor stock rotation and control departmental expenses within set targets.
- Create and manage an effective departmental roster to meet financial and service targets.
- Stay across hotel and EVT policies
