We're an established timber flooring business looking for a practical, energetic and self-managed person to grow into this key role.

You don't need years of supervision or timber flooring experience.

We're looking for a competent human who gets things done — someone who's great with customers, handy with tools, comfortable around trades and able to solve problems without creating more drama.

The Role

You'll learn to take ownership of our sites while working closely with our installers, floor prep and warehouse teams.

You'll be responsible for:

- Supervising and checking timber flooring sites
- Coordinating installers and floor prep teams
- Managing customers and difficult conversations
- Solving site problems independently
- Maintaining quality and keeping jobs moving
- Coaching and supporting our tradespeople
- Getting hands-on with the team when required

This isn't a clipboard supervisor position. We want someone who earns the team's respect by being capable, practical and willing to get involved.

Get Handy With Timber

You'll also help turn our timber offcuts into sustainable retail products such as serving boards, shelving, coasters and other timber accessories.

If you're comfortable measuring, cutting, sanding, assembling and generally making things with your hands , or coaching people on handskills you'll enjoy this part of the role.

You'll have access to 25+ years of timber flooring expertise, systems and practical knowledge.

We don't expect you to know everything.

We expect you to have the drive and curiosity to extract that knowledge, apply it and become exceptionally good at what you do.

What We're Looking For

You could come from flooring, carpentry, construction, maintenance, warehousing, manufacturing or another practical background.

More importantly, you're:

- Hands-on and tool handy
- Self-managed and dependable
- Good with customers and people
- Calm under pressure
- Comfortable coaching tradespeople
- Hungry to learn and improve
- Someone who takes ownership

Timber flooring can be taught. Attitude, ownership and common sense are what we're hiring for.
