Full Job Description

KKN Foods Pty Ltdis seeking talented and experiencedChefs for a full time positions for our popular Indian restaurant locatedin Paddington, Qld 4064.

Duties Include

- Responsible for the preparation of dishes as per the menu and recipes.
- Ensuring that the meals are prepared as per the hygiene standards andserved to the customers on time.
- Ensure staff always adhere to Occupational health and safety measures.
- Ensuring the seasoning and garnishing of food are done appropriately as wellas ensuring that the right portion of food is served to the customers as perrestaurant standards.
- Analysing and approximating the price for food and human resource.
- Menu designing and amending details in menu, dishes whenever required aswell as planning seasonal specials.
- Ensuring that the food is stored in temperature-controlled facilities.
- Directing food preparation to meet any special dietary requirements of thecustomer.




- Managing stock inventory and ordering raw materials of high quality.
- Providing instructions to kitchen staff regarding the proper way of handlingcooking equipment and demonstrating different cooking styles.
- Monitoring the quality of raw and cooked food.
- Recruit, Train and mentor other kitchen staff and apprentices.
- Effectively deal and rectify with the issues for the smooth operations of thebusiness.
- Costing menu items including costing of food and labour costs.
- Work to resolve kitchen issues, listen to feedback and seek solutions inconjunction with fellow staff.

Skills and Experience

- Certificate IV qualification is required.
- The candidate must have at least 2 years experience.
- To be energetic & motivated.
- Able to work under pressure.

Salary Package: $73,500 -$75,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
