This prestigious joint appointment combines academic leadership within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences with strategic research leadership and specialist clinical practice at the Women's.

As Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist – Clinical Academic and Research Lead, you will provide visionary leadership across research, clinical care and education to advance excellence in women's health. You will build internationally competitive research programs, strengthen multidisciplinary collaborations, mentor future clinician-scientists and translate research discoveries into meaningful improvements in clinical practice, policy and health outcomes.

Located within Melbourne's internationally renowned Parkville Biomedical Precinct, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate across leading universities, hospitals and research institutes while shaping the future of women's health nationally and globally.

You may be a great fit if you:

- Hold a medical qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or equivalent).
- Demonstrate an internationally recognised record of excellence in women's health, obstetrics and gynaecology research.
- Have an outstanding track record of research leadership, competitive grant success and developing high-impact research programs.




- Are an experienced clinician with a commitment to excellence in specialist obstetric and gynaecological care.
- Have successfully led multidisciplinary teams and built productive collaborations across academic, clinical and research environments.
