- Own the sell side : bring more in-jurisdiction capacity onto the market — sovereign silicon, spare GPU, firm and floating.
- Run the market itself: firm vs floating pricing, failover chains, and the residency rules that keep AU data onshore.
- Be the face of sovrgn in Australia — AEMO-adjacent bodies, insurers, and the regulators shaping AI-continuity rules.

What we're looking for

- You have personally carried a NEM power or gas book — a trading desk, a gentailer, a retailer, an aggregator/VPP, or a large industrial load.
- Fluent in the NEM: 5-minute dispatch and settlement, FCAS, regional pricing, price caps/floors, and the cap-and-collar hedge market.
- You settle debates with numbers. Merit order, regional basis, and the cost of certainty are second nature.
- Commercial range: you can talk to a CIO, a developer, and a regulator in the same week.
- AI-native or AI-curious. You don't need to write the router — you need to understand the market it runs.
- AU-based. Bonus if you already know the AloomU / sovereign-compute story.

- Origination/structuring — PPAs, offtake, firming deals.
- VPP, DER-aggregation, or grid-operations (AEMO) background.
