About the role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology projects from initiation through to completion. This role will suit someone with experience vendor side who can balance delivery with commercial acumen, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and keep teams and customers focused on scope, timelines, risks, budgets and outcomes.

You will work closely with internal consulting teams, Resource Managers and Engagement Managers as well as our external customers in implementing one of the most popular Enterprise Service Management Solutions.

Key responsibilities

- Take responsibility as the lead of our Project Management Practice and own project delivery from planning through to go live
- Develop, refine and execute best practices in Project Management and refine or establish structures and artifacts that drive successful outcomes.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets, resources and success measures.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder updates.
- Prepare clear project documentation including status reports, project schedules and risk registers

About you

- 5 to 10 Years of Project Management experience and the drive to own a Project Management practice and mentor team members.




- Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle in a commercial environment delivering to external customers from a variety of industries.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation and influencing/negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and expectations in a quick-paced environment.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues and reporting.
- Sound understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
- Relevant project management certification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or equivalent experience, will be highly regarded.
- Vendor experience implementing SaaS solutions and ideally ITSM platforms would be advantageous.

- Review and improve current Project Management practices and mentor team members.
- Lead a Project Management Practice.
- Keep customer projects moving and prevent avoidable delays.
- Maintain clear boundaries and contain delivery to agreed project scope.
- Ensure customer and internal responsibilities are understood and followed through.
- Identify additional effort early and constantly manage burndown rather than allowing projects to quietly overrun.
- Escalate issues before they become significant delivery or commercial problems.
- Maintain strong customer relationships even when difficult conversations are required.
- Help our consulting team deliver projects efficiently, predictably and profitably.
- Balance customer satisfaction with the commercial responsibilities of a Professional Services organisation.
