Maintenance Electricians – Young, NSW Permanent Full-Time Opportunities

$49–$57/hr + Overtime Available

Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a long-term opportunity with strong earning potential, job security, and a great team culture?

We are seeking multiple Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established food production facility in Young, NSW. Working within a modern processing workplace, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting production uptime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- Breakdown and preventative maintenance across processing and packaging equipment
- Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
- Maintenance, repair and testing of motors, drives, control systems, sensors and production equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving PLC, instrumentation and automation-related faults
- Supporting planned shutdowns, repairs and equipment upgrades
- Assisting with electrical installations and continuous improvement projects
- Ensuring all electrical maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Working closely with production teams to maximise plant reliability and performance

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Electrical Trade Qualification and current NSW Electrical Licence




- Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing, agricultural or industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, instrumentation and automated production equipment
- Understanding of electrical drawings, schematics and control circuits
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens or similar PLC systems highly regarded
- A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

Roster – 12-Hour Rotating Shifts

- 7:00am – 7:00pm
- 7:00pm – 7:00am
- Rotating day and night shifts
- 8-day fortnight roster
- Weekend work shared across the maintenance team
