About the Role

Join a regional referral hospital as an Emergency Medicine Staff Specialist during a 12-month period of service renewal and workforce transition. Provide specialist emergency care, clinical leadership, and support for junior medical staff while helping maintain high-quality, patient-centred services. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver specialist emergency medicine services.
- Provide leadership and support during departmental transition.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
- Participate in teaching, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
- Contribute to on-call, telehealth, and emergency care services.

Essential Criteria

- Eligible for AHPRA registration.
- FACEM or substantially comparable overseas-trained specialist.
- Recent experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to education, clinical excellence, and patient safety.
