Gorilla Jobs is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Doctors across Sydney and regional NSW, from senior RMOs through to CMOs and Consultants.

If you're looking for flexible ED work with strong hourly rates, we can line up shifts and blocks that fit around your life.

We're arranging locum work for ED doctors at different levels, including:

- ED RMO / SRMO
- ED Registrar / Senior Registrar
- CMO
- FACEM / ED Consultant

You can choose:

- Occasional ad-hoc shifts
- Week-long or multi-week stints
- Ongoing or repeating block bookings

Clinical Setting - What You'll Gain:

- Exposure to a wide range of presentations - trauma, resus, acute medicine, paediatrics, mental health and more
- Experience in different ED settings - major referral centres, district hospitals and regional sites
- Supportive multidisciplinary teams with defined escalation and retrieval pathways

Eligibility Criteria:

- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- PGY3+ with recent Emergency Medicine or acute care experience
- For senior roles - solid ED experience as a CMO or FACEM
- Australian working rights




- Willingness to complete NSW Health credentialing, compliance and mandatory training

What's Provided:

- Up to $300+/hour for CMO and Consultant shifts (other levels paid at competitive hourly rates)
- Regular, reliable payroll
- For regional ED roles - travel and accommodation provided
- Support with credentialing, rosters and logistics to keep things straightforward

Location:

- Sydney & Greater Sydney - including Western Sydney and the Nepean Blue Mountains region (e.g. Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains)
- Regional NSW - such as Hunter New England, Murrumbidgee, Western NSW and Southern NSW, with a mix of base hospitals and smaller EDs

You can:

- Pick up ED shifts close to home in Sydney
- Add regional blocks around your existing roster
- Use longer locum stints as a bridge between contracts or training terms
